Why cant i find the words to say to you?
The silence drags on.
I cut the tension with how are you?
The small talk flows like ice.
You say fine, but i can tell your lying.
You look at your feet and dont make contact.
Look at me. I say.
You do.
I almost step away from you when i see your eyes.
Burning into mine they say everything.
Pain and hate and fear and passion.
They tell the story that youre too afraid to speak.
I wish i could find the words to say to you.
Insted i step forward and take you in my arms.
Sometimes even words arent enough.
