So He Was Late Again
So he was late again.
It wasn’t like she hated him.
He didn’t even see her get on the plane.
She never felt a bit of pain.
It was mutual as usual.
He was staying in his Chicago scene.
She was leaving to her Paris dream.
To him it was shores and lights.
But with her it was all love and nights.
He was fine in their apartment over Lake Michigan.
But she wasn’t, she needed to wish again.
Fasten your seat belt.
No way of winning.
Fasten your seatbelt.
Take off’s beginning.
