Light glistens blue in tranquil waters,
as azure waves gently lap the shore
Slate hued figures glide beneath the waves,
and seek the coolness down below

The glass smooth turquoise surface gives way
to majestic cobalt mountain rise
They reach above the peaceful valley
and touch the clear robin egg’s sky

Snowmelt softly gathers into sapphire pools,
and trickles down the sloping sides
It meets an edge of the cerulean rocks
and cascades into aqua coves

The azure waters serenely break
along the shores of valley low
Under backdrop of cobalt mountains high
and quiet melody of bluebird song
