Seize the day.
Don’t let time slip away
through your fingers
like the sandy beaches
of the hourglass
we know as ‘life’;
but don’t let your
ocean of thoughts
wash away your beach.
Take a bite out of life,
taste the sweet sours,
smell the bitter roses.
Lay out on the
crisp yellow grass…
Keep chasing the sun;
don't let it go down
on your life, live
each day as you last.
