Vulnerability of sleep
And so the world was set away
 And the distant moon showed high above
 And down came light in through the window
 As we wrapped our bodies in skins of love
 
 And so our eyes were made to close
 And our fingers laced in the others hand
 And we mixed our dreams by the closeness bound
 As our thoughts on overdrive had a safe place to land
 
 And so our bodies were placed to be vulnerable
 And we let our guard down for the dark
 And we lay together until the sunlight
 As we slept away the love we marked
