Can You See the Light?
what did you see when you looked in the mirror,
something your proud of or something you feared?
Did you make that mistake, then knowingly made more,
Turned around, as your actions closed doors.
You said it wasn't fair, you said it wasn't right,
yeat never once did you even try to fight.
You said nothing was wrong, but thought nothing was right,
the tunnel kept going, and you couldn't see the light.
what I don't get is why you had to blend.
I missed the real you. I still miss my best friend.
Then one night another mistake,
I warned you before thats all it would take.
We sit at your grave your family and I,
all we can do now is cry.
Why did you do all the drucgs and drink,
did you ever once stop and think:
"Maybe I'm wrong, this isnt right"
I wonder now, can you see the light?
