My Mind
Ever Sense my parents got divorced
I have been dreaming what is love really is
Like a small hamster on a wheel
My mind has spun uncontrollably
Just Like the state of Nebraska
My life has been nothing but boring
Still my hamster brain keeps going
And my gears keep on moving
If “you” find yourself on a path I just described
Turn back and run fast as you can
Like a track star with a belly full of cake
Don’t stop to discharge
Don’t confine your brain to be a hamster on a wheel
Make it a kite, where the sky is the limit
During the nights you can hangout with the stars
Then in the morning
You can get up and drive your fancy cars.
