In The Eyes:
April 30, 2008
In the eyes:
I have been burnt cut and bruised
I have been scratched whacked and wailed on.
I have served others and have received little thanks
I’ve been leaned on till my legs turned weak.
I have even slaved under the
fat family cat
you would think they would treat me better
my masters
but till that day
I will continue
to serve... them.
I am
the kitchen table
