The Ghetto Waltz
in a deep trance
embraced in a thug's romance
we sway to a dance
not too slow or fast
united by our hands
juss me and my man
only the hood knows
about how it goes
how it flows
bodies close and hot
we're on the spot
sensation shoot'n thru
love keeps us glued
hidden from sophisticated folks
call us, "uncivilized" cuz we do different strokes
still, we do the unspoken
out in the open
careless of what we're called
as long as the music keeps playin
we'll still be dancin'
the ghetto waltz
