Distracting me from the world



which surrounds me





entwining their wings in my thoughts.

holding me back
A barrier between me and the others

who won’t understand







how distant I am














When I stoop down






it aggravates them





and they pound all the harder



and buzz even louder



























they whisper underneath the din


each one saying different things
