When the Time Comes
When the time comes
When my time arrives,
For my soul to leave the earth,
Will death come to my surprise,
Or have I lived life for its worth;
To give my answer,
To be nothing but honest,
I’m not ready to leave,
There’s much more to accomplish;
So much to do,
And so little time,
I live life day by day,
For one day the world may be mine;
When my time arrives,
For my soul to leave the earth,
Will death come to my surprise,
Or is my name a curse;
People will question,
If they will really be missed,
The answer to that,
Is simply this;
Their will always be someone,
Who has you in their heart,
There will always be someone,
Who will mourn when you depart;
When my time arrives,
For my soul to leave the earth,
Will death come to my surprise,
Or have I lived life for its worth.
