Waiting fof the world to change
She sat at her computer and waited.
She did her report on the rainforest, and waited.
She smiled at the recycling bin, and waited.
She wondered about rain, and waited.
She checked on her plants, and waited.
She felt pain for the children in Africa, and waited.
She planted a tree, and waited.
She was doing the things that actually mattered in the world. She did things that weren't just for herself. She never cared about her nails, her popularity, or if her clothes were "Abercrombie and Fitch", or "Hollister". She waited for the world to change and develop into a nicer and safer community.
