s(he) be(lie)ve(d)
I thought you were my fairytale
My wish upon a star
I believed you when you said you loved me
And that you'd never break my heart
So why do I lay here,
With images of you flying through my head,
While tears slip down my pillow,
And crash onto my bed?
Maybe it was my fault
For thinking this is what love is
Or maybe it was your fault
For breaking so many promises.
