Fabrications
If such a man were to truly exist
My body and heart would need a good mend
I would only bore away in my bed
Consciously dreaming of a better kiss
I’d conjure up messages from the mist
Of a romantic whose door id be lead
A man of his word, a man to be wed
A man I’d always long to hold and miss
And if that lad were concrete and real
I’d never settle for just his true love
He couldn’t be perfect enough for me
Unless an antonym of my ideal
Were to sweep me ‘til my heels are above
Then with that soul my heart shall always be
