Faceless
Without a face
I wouldn’t be able to see the destruction
I wouldn’t be able to smell the stench of deceit or taste the bitterness of lies
The poisonous gas of guile and deception wouldn’t be able to fill my lungs
Without a face I wouldn’t know how much our society’s morale is degrading
The venomous snakes, Materialism and Gossip, that control how we think and feel
The malicious tendencies of humanity that swallow you with every breath
The toxic lust we inhale every day
None of it would affect me
If I was faceless I would be oblivious to the world around me
Faceless I wouldn’t be able to change the world
Being faceless would be my excuse
But what is yours?
