Fates
Wavering breath that fogs their face
Holding to life, yet fading in pace
Keeping the time to count darkening hours
Waiting for moon to take sun's power

Still as night and covered in blue
Earth still holds rare precious few
They disappear into the eve' and
 Don't return in sad mischieve

Things like these just aren't what they seem
 Hiding stealthy identities
It's all a small trick of the hand
Then all life's journeys come to an end

Fates or tales, whatever you wish
These mystical creatures hold future's dish
To dice and slice as they please
Or give fair humans lives of ease

 But fate's entangling still clings
Just as Notre Dame bells do ding
No one can stop what no one hath made
So futures away, can not be bade
