There was this freshman who was a stud
No one knew about him
He was a quiet kid
Who practiced hard every day
One time this older kid got hurt
There was no one else who could move up
The freshman was the one who got called up
In the big game, the championship game
He was the one who stepped up
And made the shot, the last second shot
He was the one, the one who made the difference
