The dark hot anger creeps up high
It does not aide your peacock lie
It’s one step closer ‘til you die
Pride comes before the Fall

Flipping like a fish that’s gonna fry
Your smooth-talk stutters as you stall
Hades sent flippancy to clarify
Pride comes before the Fall

Got stilts to tower above them all
But tumbled down upon the first brawl
Spanked by your own hand ‘cause you had the gall
Pride comes before the Fall
