Standing inside the prison bars
lies thousands of wounds and scars
after the life of the bright sky day
is the night of darkness falls
When darkness falls inside the room
prisoners fall asleep inside the gloom
when all else is asleep
I lay on my bed as it starts to creak
When the crickets start to cheap
then all else is asleep
I am left alone
when darkness falls
