If you were a river
And I was a boat,
I'd float to the center where we could elope.

If you were a bottle
Of smooth and rich brandy,
I'd gulp it all down and feel mighty dandy.

If you were a jar
Of smooth peanut butter,
I'd be the bread
Who's surface you'd smother.

So if you were anything
That came in a pair,
Forever and always
Together we'd share.

Awwwwwwwwwwww this is so sweet, it makes me wish that my boyfriend never broke up with me. :'(     But I have no critque but I can agree with Belladona_Daughterof_Circe, it makes me want a PB and J sandwitch.

Oh nice poem- it's cute, I like it ^_^. My only nit-picky criticism would be to change "who's" to "whose," but other than that, it's great :)
