I Have a Love
I have a love,
It’s not perfect, but it’s real
And no one can match
How she makes me feel.
And everyone tells me
Just how cute we are,
That her without me
Is a sky with no stars.
They don’t even know
How I’m feeling inside,
But I guess that true love
Is too great to hide.
It spills from my mouth
With fervor and bliss,
Growing stronger and stronger
With each little kiss.
It sparkles and shines
Until I just know
How far I have fallen,
How far left to go.
In your eyes I see storms,
So cloudy and grey
And it’s harder and harder
To keep my heartbeat at bay.
There’s a song in my heart
That I know to be true,
Because from this day forth
There’s no me without you.
