The rain decided to visit me today,
To wrap around me like outstretched arms.
Feelings in this moment, so hard to convey,
As it retracts me from each day's harms.

The sweet smell of pure elation,
As each drop touches down.
I can't help but feel admiration,
As they drip upon my crown.

The sounds, so soothing to the ear,
Like a tiny drummer upon my frame.
Slowing my life down to low gear,
Cooling down the inner flame.

Each one tastes like a drop of kindness,
Bringing calming flavors into my heart.
Taking away my blindness,
Letting me see, my secrets they impart.

Each drop is like a beautiful gem,
Bringing many others along with.
Unlike people, these do not condemn,
And each singular drop adds to this experience pith.

Rainy weather is my favorite kind. Though most people see rain as a depressing matter,I see it as enjoyable and uplifting.

This was lovely.
The first 4 lines were my favorite - I loved how you described the rain's "arms". The personification, as Behind_a_Plastic_Smile said, was flawless, and it really made the poem interesting.

I realy enjoyed reading this. You're very talented.
