understanding, animated, reckless
sibling of Darry and Ponyboy
who loves his horse Mickey, fixing cars ,teasing everyone
who feels like the middleman, optimistic, wild
who needs his brothers, his best buddy Steve, to get his energy out
who gives his advice, his enthusiasm, his concerns
who fears the boys’ home, something happening to his family, his brothers fighting
who would like to see himself competing in a rodeo, Ponyboy in college, peace between socs and greasers
who lives on the east side of town
