I don't get why people like vacations better than school.
I'm one of these people,
but the thought just occurred to me.
because vacation is like school,
but more fun.

Signs, texts, and receipts
All have to be read.
Spending cash, gas prices, and 2 for 1 sales
All involve numbers my dear friends.

Postcards, credit card signing, guest books,
All require writing of some sort.
How hot the day is, and maybe protective gear,
All have the need for science to figure out how.

Plaques, old historic books, museums, actual location,
All sum up something you've learned in history.
Typing something into the GPS,
Requires spelling.

Everything you do involves something from school.
And how is your vacation now?
A long school day with an ocean and some palm trees nearby.
