Chocolate Chip Cookies
If your mother asks you
 To bake some cookies,
 Don’t worry and fret
  If you’re only a rookie.

 Just shower
 On the all-purpose flour,
 Spoon an iota
 Of baking soda,
 And clutter on the butter,
But if you forget the salt,
 It’s all your fault!

 Just add chunks of sugar
 The size of boogers,
 Don’t have to be exact
 With the vanilla extract.
 Just drop a tad,
 And drip
 In some chocolate chips
But don’t toss in those shells!
 Just the eggs themselves.

 Then, let them bake
 For minutes eight.
 When you take them out,
 Throw one into your mouth.
 Don’t spit it out!
 If it tastes bad,
 Don’t feel sad!
 Try again,
 My dear friend.
