A Broken Record
Music was our bond
through it love was formed,
We communicated through the lyrics
With different genres of different music,
We blasted it together when we were mad
We sung softly to it while we were sad,
We rocked out to it when we were excited
We just straight listened to it while we waited,
But when the record broke so did we
And now there's no more of the duet-you and me,
Instead it's just two broken CD pieces
That will never be whole again so we're useless.
