My heart is like an open book
All you have to do is take a look
It shows the real me
Here I am for everyone to see

It beats soft and calm
It's the pulse near my palm
But sometimes it's locked
It keeps loved ones blocked

It sometimes is hostile
It keeps a distance of a mile
When I'm happy it poses
When I'm sad it closes

Even though I ponder
I never let my heart wander

Hey just me, I really liked this poem. Great job! I really like the part of my when im sad my heart closes. Great line. Suggestion: maybe add more imagery
