skip like an orange fox!
so (dear audience)
 as in all rightful fairytales
 marooned
 we instantly became.
 relics rope us snug
while gaunt and hopeful we glance
 feet bare
in the place where our memories merge.
 like jelly on toast
 the after always burns worse
 than the before
 doesn’t it?
 and my raw spots seem
 all too evident to you
so I prance away ( skip skip skip like hopscotch)
more or less like an orange fox
 on the black asphalt
smirk sewn in my lips (knowing)
 your ugly feet
 will never catch
 me.
 (applause)
