Roses are withering,
Petals are shattering,
Our bodies are shivering.

The souls are quietly whispering,
Broken petals slowly scattering,
Roses are withering.

Our lips are quivering,
Hearts are hammering,
Our bodies are shivering.

The souls are lingering,
Some are scampering,
Roses are withering.

The souls are hindering,
Roses far from gathering,
Our bodies are shivering.

The souls are bewildering,
Slowly we are all fracturing,
Roses are withering,
Our bodies are shivering.

What inspired me to write this piece is when your all alone, for say in the woods, and its dead silent. And your mind is thinking rapidly, but its not at the same time. It a peaceful bliss but yet everything seems so uncertain. Almost as if your not completely alone.
