"Those who deny the darkness in their hearts, are the ones who fall deeper into it."

The Darkest,
The Darkest one
Impossible to love
Though the best of all
It’s surrounded by blood
By the many who’ve fallen
Because they tried to open to all
What’s meant to be sealed
Not to protect itself
But to protect the many others
To stop sinful heartbreak
Like a painful Heartbeat
Hearts are lost

The Darkest has no soul
Can’t love another
Because bound by one
Even in death
It remains the same
Tearful hopes rain
On the abysmal sap
Who must wield a rare thing
The darkness
A curse to breathe
A real chance at life is gone
No room for fulfillment
But what’s so sad
Is being forever mad
Might being in the shadows
Be an unseen jewel
On an untold night
Seeing nothing but the dark
Trapped in the windows
We call eyes

Now there’s nothing left to say
Except sorry to the one
The one who was lost
The Brightest one
Your light is dim
Too dim to shine
On this Dark Being
And Bring Back Life
Because you’re gone
The world must be undone

To love is to be vulnerable; Triumph is born out of struggle; We notice shadows most when they stand alone in the midst of overwhelming light.

The thing is...the world is undone. And it does seem like light is dim, because as I've said before, we live in a dark world. What you wrote in your poem has depth, meaning, and truth in it. Thanks for sharing your poem.
