The Raven's Call

At the call of a Raven,
down falls the girl.
Her mind
and her heart
and her soul
with a twirl.
The darkness has fallen.
The thin branches sway.
The family,
the friends,
the unknowing
stay.
At the call of the Raven,
one life has gone dead.
With sorrow,
with pain,
to the land of
Once Had.
At the call of a Raven,
down jumps the girl.
Her grace,
her beauty,
had yet to
unfurl.
