Why did you promise that you wouldn't leave
And then walk out the door
And why did you wait till I was out to leave
And only leaving me with a note that said your sorry but you cant

Why did you not stay longer
Yes I had my problems but so did you
We could have worked it out
Shy did you tell me you love me
Did you mean it or was it another one of your sill little lies
Yes that’s right I knew when you were lying to me
Bu I just ignored it and went on with my life
Why would you hole me so close to you
When all you really wanted to do is push me away
You really had me believing that you were different
That you might be the one that I have been looking for
The one I have been searching for
The one that I was going to turn old and gray with
But I guess that was all just a lie
Another silly lie
I guess all I want to know is why
