You Melt My Skin Straight Off
My blood starts to boil; your sweetness makes it spoil;
Makes me shiver makes me shake; you simply make my heart ache,
You make me numb to the core, give me that feeling I can’t ignore;
Give me goose bumps give me chills, give my thoughts extra thrills,
You burn holes through my skin, with piercing eyes that suck me in;
Make my cheeks pained with a smile; make my whole life worth while,
I take my hands and place them upon you; I find love completely new;
Find myself fixated find myself concentrated, find that my mind had
over-evaluated,
You are better than what I originally thought, you have my mind riddled
have it caught;
Have me entranced and entangled; you leave me breathless and strangled,
Struggling to take in enough oxygen to supply; you leave me with not
enough strength to fly;
Once before I could soar, now I can’t even lift my feet off the floor,
For your lure has me stuck; if this is love then I’ve run into luck;
Run myself straight into fate; if this is love then it’s something I
hate,
Something evil something blessed, something I’ve wished to be expressed;
Through words composed of beauteous matter; through gentle sensations
that automatically flatter,
Through eyes that surge with compassion like no other; through lips
that gracefully and utterly smother;
Hot kisses that melt my skin straight to the bone; only love like that
is in which I condone,
For this is the only kind of love I’ve ever known with you, a cursed
and blessed love that rots skin straight through.
