Sea Salt and Shells
The sea whispers my name in the mist of the moonlight,
Salt splashes soulfully against the shore.
No way of hiding between the blue lies that is called the sea
Blue crisp thin air slices through your nose
Inhaling the strong smell
The smell you can never forget.
Sit by the boardwalk at days beginning
no soul is here
leaving you vulnerable to the waves whispers
their whispers to never be forgotten,
to never forget,
never forgotten.
embedded in my memory,
for a lifetime,
the shells cinch under my feet
as they disappear into the sand,
The glorious smell of the ocean.
the beautiful sights,
the memories...
never forgotten
