Worn out faces,
Smiles that never last.
Cheap booze,
Big parties,
Everything's too fast.
The jazz may be smooth,
But their lives are a wreck.
Searching for the truth,
Always out of check.
Roaring, Raring.
Look at the way they're living.
The most fun of the century,
The nineteen twenties.
