CEASEFIRE
Standing on the front line for the side of peace
A fight so brutal, she falls to her knees:
A fearful knight, armoured with brevity
against her idle soul, gasping for longevity
Her arms are white flags, they dance in the sky
Her tears are the bullets she never let fly
The weapon--his reason in life to rebel
But weaponly words, he spoke far too well
Her body screams out as her heart concurs
as he uses his fallback of questions as answers
He always loved options, she leaves him with one:
cease fire in the war he'd already won.
