.Pardon my happiness.
Your first love.
Your first illusion.
Your first true feeling.
Those are the phrases they used to describe me.
I often ask myself why they pushed us apart.
Perhaps it was meant to be.
You see, often times I tell myself things happen for a reason.
The reasons I lack in the questions I ask.
Why?
Why?
Why?
I cried, I'll admit.
Not because I was sad the story we once hoped to write had ended,
but because I knew you had been torn apart.
Your hopes and dreams taken away.
Like Romeo and Juliet,
but unlike them we were not able to fight for a common reason.
Separated and restricted through the unbuilt walls.
Who knew these invisible walls would drift us apart.
I am then asked a simple question,
to wait an eternity or to move on with my life?
Pardon my happiness.
I have left without a goodbye.
