What's Best?
In this moment I smile
Full of happiness like a child
My heart is light and joyful
Even if in pieces it flys
At least in some way it touches the sky
My mind lingers
Dewlling on memories deep inside
Of cold nights
And empty lives
Cannot shake these chains
So brittle, yet stronger than me
I reach the low, the lull of goodbye
Bitter emotions and beautiful lies
Could I claw out
With my heart a flutter
And my mind gone
Could I call out
With my broken voice
And my bound hands
I mouth the words
Pulling against my bonds
Set me free
