Tomorrow is Never Here

Mountains of snowy greystone,
frost covered treetops;
ice chilled air,
reminds us that tomorrow is never here;
And my dear;
is the same as ever,
sitting in the rose covered meadows;
is you and I in the sun-lit shadows,
talking well into the night;
Our silhouettes eliminated by
the moon's light,
you ask if there is a day
where I miss you;
I smile slightly saying I do,
looking up at our star;
I know we would never be far;
Where we live in a world,
when today never ends;
and tomorrow never comes,
is a dream;
Where life and reality is just plain
mean;
As I sit here on this moss-covered
floor,
memories of of tomorrow are
yesterday's fantasies;
though you and I know,
tomorrow is never here
for we live in today.

Of course today ends! Of course tomorrow comes! Isn't that common sense?

very true! Love, your friend forever, Esperanza! (the word for Hope in Spanish! I love that name/word!)

cat, this is pretty much great. only a few spelling (i know you dont like spelling)and the line, "is you and i in the sunlit shadows" i think it might be better without the beginning it. otherwise, just some spelling. this poem speaks volumes!
