Lazy October

October 8, 2008
By Anonymous

There I lay
The orange sun radiates on my pale cheeks
I glance up to see the lighted sky
The rusty trees wave their branches
The leaves sky- dive, raining multi- colors
The grass shrivels up waiting till next summer
The howl of the whistling wind dances in my ear
A Smokey scent is apparent, neighbors burning undesired leaves
Albino clouds gliding across the sea
I crack a smile, just for a moment
And enjoy the lazy October
While it lasts
