The Final Turn

Pulling ourselves up
The long winding hill.
The trees canopied over the trail
Making the ground dark and moist.
The big green machine
Lugging its way up
Pulling the trailer
With my brothers and sisters.
We started to make the
Final turn around a very sharp corner when
The tractor began to
Lean to the right
And the trailer followed.
Everything began moving in
Slow motion and
The trailer flipped over
Dragging, and wiping us along
With our tears
Back down the hill.
