The siege has begun
It must be won
Blood is spilled
As hundreds are killed
Soldiers bring the battering ram
To bring down the door with a slam
Archers take aim
As their victims are maimed
The siege towers meet the castle walls
As wounded soldiers fall
Screams pierce the night silence
In the bloody violence
The siege is one
But the war has just begun
