easy to fall

the pounding of my heart
could not be silenced by a song
and the love i felt when i looked at you
would last and last too long
because i fell hard and easy
but getting back was not the same
to tumble down is novice
but climbing up is pain
because falling in love lacks effort
but to fall out is quite the bane
perhaps i should stop clawing and climbing
and just give in to the fall
for love oh love is meant to be kind
but is it kind for all?
