Still I Wonder
I walk around,
And I see those leaves,
Those beautiful colors,
I cannot grasp it,
How can something so beautiful exist?
But then I think,
What is it like there?
Is it different from here?
It must be,
And still I wonder.
I swim around,
And I see those waves,
Those flowing,
And those crashing,
I cannot understand,
How can something so smooth become so rough?
But then I think,
What is it like there?
Is it different from here?
It must be,
And still I wonder.
I sit around,
And I see those chairs,
That blackboard, those desks,
That awesome teacher,
I cannot comprehend,
How can someone so cool exist?
But then I think,
What is it like there?
Is it different from here?
It must be,
And still I wonder.
And then I see those pictures,
Of those other kids,
I see what it really is like,
I get an idea,
Finally.
But then I think,
What is it really like?
It must be different,
Right?
Those kids are different,
They live different lives,
They cannot be the same as us,
Or can they?
They could,
And yet,
Still I wonder.
