And here we are
December 14, 2013
And here we are,
The seniors,
With the letter jackets,
and the class rings.
Proud,
Almost to proud,
To get to leave.
But we still have,
Our instruments,
Our sports, our grades,
Our futures.
But at the end of the day,
Our demons have caught up,
"It's time to exercise."
"It's time to practice."
"It's time to be alone."
"It's time to cut."
Is what we all hear,
We all know how,
To make the demons stop,
To make the pain go away.
