Father Vs. Son
Son:

In all my years of learning
 I’ve finally begun to see
The abuse that no one’s been earning
Why did you do this to me?

You trained me to be just like you
 A hunter of the honest
But your words have proved untrue
And all that you had promised

You terrify me, now that I know the truth
You lied to her and lied to me
As you have ever since my youth
Is there nothing else that you can be?

 I’m going now
 Fulfilling your fears
 I’ll no longer bow
As I did all those years

 Your enraged extinction
 Of every last Spirit
 Knows no distinction
paling the faces of those who hear it

 Not evermore, not anymore!
 I’ll stand up opposing
 Your personal war
 Your reign will be closing

 Father:

I watch you now, my wayward son
I don’t know how this might have begun

Your Mother is dead and gone you see
And you are all that’s left to me

I admit her body was what I killed
When that foul Spirit was revealed

But I never killed her, that you must know
Her death, to me was a crippling blow

I trained you as best I could
So that you might do some good

 To destroy the unholy fiends
That were the cause of your mother’s screams

And now you’ve gone and betrayed me too
 Forcing me to bid adieu

Your world of pain has just begun
You’ve chosen wrong, my wayward son

I’ll rescue you from these foulest of scum
I beg you now, come back to me, come!

Save yourself from their vicious ways
Come back again into my praise

Do not do what your mother did
Or this quest will see me rid

Of you my precious only son
You do not know what you’ve begun.
