I am Thankful
I’m thankful for my dad,
And I am grateful for my mom.
I love all of my siblings,
Even when we don’t get along.
I’m thankful for my food,
My clothes and my bed.
I don’t think I could live without my pets,
Or the roof over my head.
I’m glad that I can get an education,
And that the country I live in is free.
I am blessed with so many things,
Those are just a few that mean the most to me.
I want to remember to always be thankful,
But not just on Thanksgiving Day.
Saying “thank you” and being appreciative,
Should be done each and every day.
