The Easter Egg Hunt

“Now go and find the eggs,” my parents say,
I replied, “I’ll be searching for them all day!”
Off I went to search and seek,
For an egg with some chocolate, jelly beans, or a peep.
I looked up high, and I hunted really low,
I still couldn’t find the eggs. Where did they go?
At last, I spotted an egg so small,
Blue plastic peeked from a hole in a wall.
I pulled it out and opened it up,
Inside was a Reese’s peanut butter cup!
This gave me hope to find the rest,
And I could see which egg was filled with the best.
