I'd Love You Even If
Even if you moved far away,
To another city, state, or place.
I'd write you every chance I had,
And find some way to see your face.
If you got an injury,
And somehow lost all your memory,
I'd stay with you until you could remember,
I would come any day from January through December.
If you got diagnosed
With a life-threatening disease,
I'd stay by your side as much as you would allow,
And I'd do anything else you'd please.
If you simply don't want to be with me,
I'd say, "That's okay, I'll love you for all of eternity."
If you aren't ready, we can wait and see,
If it's truly meant to be.
And that's fine with me.
Because I will love you unconditionally.
Even if you never love me.
