Love
like the needles in the crook of my elbow
i disappear into their petulant thoughts
Love
along the bottom of a bottle
drowning reluctant sorrows
Love
in the potent but miniscule capsules
tinted with an orange glow that burns me through
Love
permeating through the grnules of toxin
packed into plastic sewn with my scars
Love
through the lies they spew
as i spin and slaw to their gain
Love
as i awake to the blackness of my own demise
Why, I dont believe this is love at all
